Video Communications

Typical Issues:
  • Internet Bandwidth
  • Equipment availability and compatibility
  • Establishing video-communications

  • Internet bandwidth in Ghana is expensive and as such the bandwidth required to deliver video communications is not readily available.  However, there are alternative methods that local solutions providers employ in order to deliver the service effectively and efficiently.  Contact a local provider.
  • Web-based videoconferencing equipment is available at most electronics stores in capital city of Accra.  Traditional videoconferencing kits are hard to find in local stores. It is much easier to communicate using web-based videoconferencing tools than with traditional equipment.
  • Videoconferencing can also be arranged through various local service providers by calling or visiting their websites. The use of Skype and similar tools also work as long as there is adequate bandwidth.
